These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Trainerax Private Limited ("Trainerax", "we", "us") for using the Trainerax app, the Trainerax Coach app and our website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Last updated: 9 October 2026.
1. Who can use Trainerax
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done with your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
2. Health and safety
Trainerax provides fitness and nutrition coaching. It is not a medical service and does not diagnose or treat any condition. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise or diet programme, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, an injury or take medication.
Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath. Explanations of blood reports and other health data are for guidance only; always follow your doctor's advice. You take part in workouts and follow diet plans at your own risk.
3. Coaching, plans and the assistant
Plans are customised from the information you give us, so please keep it accurate and up to date. Your coach reviews your plan; the in-app assistant and other automated features may draft plans, read photos and reports and answer questions, and can make mistakes. Results depend on many things and are not guaranteed.
4. Memberships, free trial and payments
- Plans: Diet, Workout, or Diet + Workout, billed for the period you choose (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) at the price shown in the app, including any discount. Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Included coach calls are scheduled automatically in your coach's available times; unused calls do not carry over. Extra calls can be bought in the app.
- Free trial: new members may get a 7-day trial of Diet + Workout with a set number of credits for coaching features such as coach chat and plan changes. When the trial ends or the credits run out, your coach’s plans, chat, plan changes and calls pause until you choose a plan. Ask Trainerax and food scans are free for everyone within a monthly fair-use limit. One trial per person.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. Memberships do not renew automatically unless the app clearly says so when you pay.
- Refunds: if you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of payment and we will review your request. Refunds, where approved, go back to the original payment method. We may refund a part of the fee for the unused period at our discretion.
5. Your consent
By ticking the box at sign-up you confirm that you have read these Terms and the Privacy Policy and you consent to Trainerax:
- collecting and processing your personal data, including health data (body measurements, health conditions, food and workout logs, photos, reports and Health app data), to provide coaching and the Service;
- sharing it with your coach and with the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, including AI providers that process it for us;
- sending you notifications about your plan, coach messages, calls and reminders, which you can switch off in Settings.
You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account in Settings or by emailing us; this does not affect processing done before you withdrew.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: break the law; harass, abuse or threaten coaches or other members; share content that is hateful, sexual, violent or infringes others' rights; impersonate anyone; upload other people's photos or data without permission; try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get unauthorised access to the Service; or use the Service to sell or advertise. We may suspend or close accounts that do. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: in Bro Connect you can report a person or a message and block anyone, abusive words are filtered, and our team reviews every report within 24 hours, removes the content and suspends or closes the accounts involved.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, logs, messages and reports you add. You give Trainerax a limited licence to store, process and show them to provide the Service (for example to your coach, or to friends as you choose in Bro Connect). We do not use your photos for marketing without your separate permission.
8. Coaches
Coaches using the Trainerax Coach app must keep client data confidential, use it only to coach that client, give safe and responsible advice within their qualifications, and follow these Terms and any coach agreement with Trainerax.
9. Our Service and changes
The Trainerax name, logo, app and content belong to Trainerax. We may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend the Service for maintenance. We will try to give notice of important changes.
10. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Trainerax is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury or health problems arising from following plans or advice without the medical clearance described in section 2. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end your account if you break these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example health and safety, liability and governing law) survive.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, subject to your rights under consumer protection law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem.
